Totally last-minute, but tomorrow I’m leading a discussion group called "Open Sourcing City Hall" as part of Architecture for Humanity Toronto’s monthly series. The general premise is to talk about how civic participation in municipal government can be improved be adopting an ”open source” philosophy and approach.

Forget SMART goals; go for the hard ones

How's this for challenging the consensus...

SMART goals are dumb. That's the conclusion of a study by the Leadership IQ consultancy, which found that so-called SMART goals – goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-sensitive – don't correlate with success.

Drupal Theme Development

Happy to see there are more Drupal users out there. One of the common hurdles we may all face is customizing themes to meet strategic computing header/footer requirements for all websites. I've been working on this, trying to find the best method to incorporate the material available at:
