For the past five years, Dell has provided a platform to recognize Canadian small businesses for their innovative application of technology through the Dell SMB Innovation Award. This honour carries a national prize of $25,000 for the finalist, entry into the international judging, media exposure and the opportunity to meet Michael Dell.
They also support important and innovative research initiatives at a number of Canadian universities through high-performance computing (HPC) solutions. These academic labs depend on specialized equipment and advanced IT to record large amounts of data and create complex computer models to achieve their research mission.
