Sarosh specializes in the areas of Geocomputation and Geographic Information System/Sciences (GIS/GISci). Besides the support of research and scientific computing, he also helps develop learning technology solutions for faculty and staff at the Dept. of Geography, University of Toronto Mississauga.
Sarosh graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Computer Science specializing in Information Systems, and is currently working towards his Masters of Science in Geography, with a concentration on GIS and application areas in Emergency Management.
In the past he has filled systems administration responsibilities for the Faculty of Engineering, and delivered a simulation lab control room and other IT solutions for the Faculty of Nursing at UofT.
Despite all the specializations he’s worked towards, he still insists on being an IT generalist who has a love for delivering specialized applications.
