Lena Paulo Kushnir, Ph,D., was appointed in 2007 to manage the Teaching Technology Support Office in the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Arts and Science. Previously, Dr. Kushnir taught in the Department of Psychology for 16 years and her areas of research include instructional design, online assessment, and the use of instructional technologies in university contexts. Her research examines the characteristics of online environments and the effects of such environments on perception, cognition, information processing, and learning, focusing primarily on stimulus overload and individuals' perceptions (and misconceptions) of information overload.
