The apocalypse is upon us! (a.k.a. emergency messaging)

Hello all!

Given the current trends with the swine flu outbreak, I wanted to ask what everyone is doing to solve this communications dilemma. OISE, for instance, has 6000 students to notify... potentially.

Recognizing that we're probably not alone facing this issue, I'd like to know what my colleagues are doing to resolve this issue. Also, I'm curious, has there been official technological word (in terms of solutions) from either the CIO, Provost or the President? What's our plan? What's the backup plan?
