TechKnowFile Presents....You?
Dear TKF-ers...
The first step in making TechKnowFile different in 2009 was this new and fabulous website! I am glad to see the community use it to collaborate and discuss relevant issues and exchange some much needed Geek Love!
The second step in making TechKnowFile different was to spread out presentations across the entire year, versus hosting them all on the day of the conference. After a summer hiatus and a little bit of recovery time for the TKF crew, we launched the presentation series with the Windows 7 Demo kindly hosted by Microsoft and St. Michael's College. It was a great success and we would now like to continue featuring more TKF presentations leading into TechKnowFile 2010 Conference.
We hope to establish a steady line-up of interesting sessions that will allow our colleagues to feature what innovative and important things they are doing. I trust that all you loyal TechKnowFile participants will join the sessions and engage in some dynamic discussions!
If you are interested in presenting, we want to hear from you, so please e-mail me at tamara [dot] adizes [at] utoronto [dot] ca or via the TechKnowFile e-mail form and I will be glad to facilitate a time and place for you to present!
Lastly, to come full circle.. we now have a date for TechKnowFile 2010 -- Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Keep your eyes open for details and registration!
I hope to see many of you at the upcoming sessions -- both presenting and listening!
