The WIND of change...
It looks like WIND mobile is finally here. Value-wise, they actually seem to be competitive with the rest of the "contract-free" crowd (namely low-end telcos like Fido, Koodo, PC Mobile, Virgin and others). By being "actually competitive" I mean offering more than a choice of "with telco X you get feature X included, and with telco Y you get feature Y included". WIND seems to give you either a choice between X and Y that won't cost you any of your appendages... or they just throw both in. Oh, and features X and Y are actually features you would use, like call display, as opposed to the freebie 3 message voicemail or three-way calling (with the three-times pricing).
All in all, I think this is very, very good news. Canada truly needs competition in the telco market, and now is the best time to do it. I remember back in the day with ROGERS bought Fido, I was quite disheartened, because I knew that we're back to the Bell/Telus vs. ROGERS monopoly. More choice is always a good thing.

"Parts included"?
"give you either a choice between X and Y that won't cost you any of your appendages... or they just throw both in"
Is this the number of features or the number of appendages they throw in? :)
